Padstow School is a single form entry school situated in the North Cornish harbour town of Padstow.
Our aspiration is that every child can feel that they are part of a vibrant, caring community. A community in which they can feel confident enough to try new things without fear of failure. A community in which everybody has something to offer and something to learn.
We aim to give every child the opportunity to excel not only academically, which we certainly do, but in every area of their life.

Pirate Day

We had great fun on our Pirate Day which we held to mark the launch of our new website Padstow Pirates. Every child at Padstow School will be able to register on the website, they will get their own Pirate character who they can name and, by taking in part in out of school activities, they can earn points with which they can buy clothing and accessories. Pupils will also be able to ‘chat’ to other ‘pirates’ on the website and play interactive games. Only children from Padstow School can register on the site and once the children leave the school their information will be wiped, this makes the site a safe, closed community for the children. Our site has been developed in partnership with Ridgeberry, the aim is for it to develop into a Virtual Learning Environment where children can upload, store and access their work whether at school or at home.
